Authorised Representative

Authorised Representative

What we do:

Non-EU machinery manufacturers need an EU-based representative to place machinery on the European market. Based in Ireland, Alpha provides a complete Authorised Representative service under the Machinery Directive and Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, giving manufacturers a clear and compliant route to market.

Unlike firms that only hold documentation, we combine regulatory representation with machinery safety engineering expertise. We help ensure risk assessments, validation activities, and technical documentation are complete and robust before machinery is placed on the market.

As your Authorised Representative, we retain the required documentation, provide an EU contact address, liaise with market surveillance authorities, and, where mandated, can affix the CE marking and sign the Declaration of Conformity on your behalf. The result is a single partner who understands both the technical and regulatory requirements of machinery compliance in Europe

Summary

Machine safety

Machine safety means spotting risks before they cause harm, to your people or to your budgets and production not just checking compliance boxes. Your safety team reviews equipment changes early, updating or creating safeguards as needed. This proactive step happens before problems arise, so your project finishes safely and on track.
