What we do:
Working on behalf of the manufacturer, our machine safety engineers author and compile the Technical Documentation as a continuous, structured process that runs in parallel with all project activities. We review the OEM's existing documentation, carry out the risk assessment and the verification and validation work, and bring every element together into a single, coherent dossier. Rather than a final administrative step, the documentation is built from project kick-off, so every piece of compliance evidence is captured as the engineering progresses.
Prepared to meet the requirements of the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 (Annex IV) and the current Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC (Annex VII), the Technical Documentation brings together all the elements needed to demonstrate conformity with the applicable Essential Health and Safety Requirements: risk assessments, the conformity assessment procedure, engineering and design documentation, and verification and validation tests and records. This maintains full traceability between identified hazards, implemented measures, and verification outcomes.
Throughout the project, the documentation is progressively reviewed, validated, and organised, covering inputs from Alpha, OEMs, and the client. Gaps are identified early, reducing risk and avoiding delays at later project stages.
At project completion, we hand over a complete, audit-ready dossier that supports the manufacturer's Declaration of Conformity and CE marking, which they hold and keep available for market surveillance authorities throughout the required retention period
